Fees

Full Registration - $700.00 ($600 for returning TIDErs)
Here you would sign up for the entire week Sunday afternoon through Friday noon enrolling in 6 minicourses, participating in mentoring and networking with other developmental educators each day, engaging in evening hospitality including tubing the San Marcos river on Tuesday, shopping at the largest outlet mall in the U.S. and dancing in the oldest dance hall in Texas on Wednesday, and visiting Austin on Thursday afternoon with the live music scene of 6th street on Thursday evening.

Includes TIDE conference registration, transportation to and from the airport if needed, transportation to and from the hotel, all meals, materials, evening hospitality, and post-conference support.

Individual course Registration - $125.00 per mini-course
Here you would attend only a few sessions over 1 - 3 days taking from 1- 5 minicourses. If you enroll in 2 or more minicourses, you would participate in mentoring and networking with developmental educators on the day(s) you participate, join in the evening hospital on the day(s) you participate.

Includes TIDE conference registration, transportation to and from the hotel, materials, post-conference support, but no meals or evening hospitality. Meals (kickoff dinner, lunch, dinner) and evening hospitality can be purchased separately by contacting Russ Hodges.

Lodging- approximately $625
This is at a rate for 1 or 2 persons per room for 5 nights. We can arrange for roommates if you prefer one. A hot, continental breakfast and free high-speed Internet access is included in the room rate. Arrangements have been made with the Hampton Inn and Suites or the Holiday Inn Express which are next door to each other and a mile from campus. Click on the link to make a reservation at either hotel. When you call, tell them you are with the TIDE group (give the Hampton reservation the EAP code & give the Holiday Inn Express reservation the TID code) and they will give you a special rate. We will provide transportation to and from campus, or we can help you get a rental car.

Scholarships
CRLA offers 3 - $1000 scholarships to reduce the costs of attending TIDE for those who are members of CRLA for at least one year. Go to the CRLA Scholarship Information page to download the scholarship application and come join us. Many others are also available by clicking on the Scholarships Available page.

Graduate Credit
You may earn 3 hours of Texas State graduate (or extension) credit at the Masters' level (EDTC 5318, EDTC 5320, or EDTC 5321) or the doctoral level (CI 7389b) for additional tuition and fees. Participants attend the Institute, begin projects during the six mini-courses, then complete additional readings and projects beyond the Institute via distance education. Continuing Education Credit
Three hours of Texas State continuing education unit credit will also be available.
